Wedding Reception

Yesterday Mommy brought me to her friend's wedding reception at Oriental Banquet, PJ.  Daddy couldn't make it because he has to attend the District Conference in Ipoh.

I was happy to meet up with Mommy's friends, Aunty Doreen and Aunty Chee Kei.  They came to my house after Mommy has given birth to Erwyn.  But soon they left the table and I persuaded Mommy to walk around the hall to look for them.  Since the dinner has not started yet, we took a stroll around the dining hall.

Then Mommy took out some books for me to read and a puzzle to play.  Finally Mommy told me that the bride and the groom were entering the hall.  All of us stood up and clapped our hands to welcome them.

Then I asked Mommy to dance with me as I heard music playing.  Mommy said she was too shy.  But I continued and all of Mommy's friends were smilling at me.  I think they love my dance.

I brought my Kangaroo bag along with me to the dinner.  And I introduced Kangaroo to Mommy's friends as well.  I talked and talked to Aunty Josephine, Aunty Doreen and Aunty Chee Kei.  All of them said I am very active.  But when the bride tried to come near me, I ran away and hugged Mommy. 

I did not eat any dishes at the dinner.  However, Aunty Josephine kept encouraging me to eat the chicken.  Finally I ate one piece and that's all.  Mommy asked me to eat more but I told Mommy, Aunty Josephine only asked me to eat one piece and I listenend.

I also shared my paper doll with Aunty Anya's son, Amos.  Mommy said, 'Amos is a boy, so he plays the prince.  Whereas you are a girl, so you play the princess.  And next time, when Erwyn grows up, both of you can play together also.'  I simply love the idea.  Erwyn, please grow up quickily oh....

We left around 10:15pm although the dinner was not over yet.  I was a bit tired by then.  I finished my bottle of milk - 200ml on our way back home. 

I like Aunty Doreen, Aunty Chee Kei and Aunty Josephine.  But I like Aunty Doreen the most.  I told Mommy not to tell them because Aunty Chee Kei and Aunty Josephine would be very sad if they found out.

This evening, when Daddy came back home from TI, I played with Daddy the whole night.  I told Daddy I want to marry him after Daddy rescued me from the monster Daddy.

I think I like wedding.  I also like to be a bride when I grow up next time.
