Glad Tidings PJ

Last Sunday I brought Elyse, Erwyn and my mom to Glad Tidings PJ.  Their Baby Room is located at the back of the church, so the parents could get a good view on the stage.  Besides, there are toys provided.  I was hoping while Elyse plays with the toys I could worship and listen to the sermon.

Elyse was very happy the minute she entered the Baby Room.  Our previous visit to GT was almost 2 years ago.  She was too young to remember anything.  There weren't many toys supplied, but enough to keep her occupied for awhile.  She even played chase with one of the kids there.

I enjoyed the worship although I only know 2 out of 5 songs.  Looks like I have lost touch of the contemporary songs nowadays.  I love the dancers.  They played tambourine and chopstick banners.  There were 2 brothers playing the banners during the worship too. Ahh, really missed those days when I was in the dance ministry with Cynthia and the rest in CCC Tmn U.

I found the worship a little bit loud in the Baby Room but when the pastor took over the pulpit, I couldn't hear the announcement clearly.  To my surprise, the preacher of the day was Pam Seaward!  I know this godly woman since young.  She has many amazing testimonies.  However, the noise in the Baby Room was louder than her voice.  How disappointing it was.

Half way through the sermon, Elyse came up to me and said, "I am starving!"  Just recently I taught her this word.  Children are like a sponge.  They just absorb everything you teach them.  How true!  I was surprised to hear that from her.  I burst out laughing.  Although I brought some biscuits for her, she wanted something else to eat.  Because of that, we left the church even before the Service ended.  I brought her to a nearby mall to have lunch.  We shopped around until 3pm.

Elyse likes the church very much.  In fact, she wanted to go back to the church after the lunch but I told her the Service was over by then.  She was a bit upset.  But Mommy promise to bring Elyse back again.  And yes, we will!
