Elyse's Stories

About a year ago, my five year old daughter wrote these three stories on 3 handmade books.  Well, nothing fancy.  Just A5 paper folded half and stapled together.  But I wished to post these stories in my blog as I am a proud mom.  It is pretty amazing to me.  Of course, there are lots of grammatical errors and nothing flowery in it.  I only helped her with the spelling.  The storyline and everything is original.  All copyright reserved!  :p

About Elyse and Shinny Story Book 1

The Monster in the Jungle

One day Elyse and Shinny were playing fetch then Erwyn came.  

Then Elyse ask Erwyn come and play.  

Erwyn came and play.

Then Elyse, Shinny and Erwyn play with ball together.  Then they met Mommy.

Then Elyse ask Mommy play with ball.  Mommy said ok.

Then Elyse, Mommy, Shinny and Erwyn they have a picnic while a monster came.

They were frighten.

Why they were afraid?

Because there was a monster.

Why there was a monster?

Because they were in a jungle.

About Elyse and Shinny Story Book 2

Elyse Visit Daddy and Ah Gong

One day Elyse and Shinny went to see Daddy and Ah Gong.   

Daddy and Ah Gong were happy.

Then Daddy invite Elyse, Shinny to come in the house.  

Come in the house.  Please come in.  Please come in.  Let’s eat lunch now.  Says Elyse to Daddy.

Ya, let’s eat lunch now.  Says Ah Gong.

Elyse says, let us go now.   

Daddy and Ah Gong say no!

We have to go.  Elyse says.

Why?

Ok, Daddy and Ah Gong say.

Why we have to go?

Because it is dark.

About Elyse and Shinny Story Book 3

Shinny and the Guard in the Swimming Pool

Elyse and Shinny play in the swimming pool.

They play in the slides and the pool.

The guard chase Shinny away from the swimming pool.

Elyse dress Shinny up like a baby.   

So Shinny can go into the swimming pool.

Now they have to go home.

Let us go now to our home.  Elyse says.   Shinny! No! Now!

Why they have to go home from the swimming pool?

Because it is dark.
