As a mother of 2 young children, Mother's Day holds a different meaning to me. I finally understand why mothers are so awesome. Their love and dedication for their kids are beyond words description. From changing nappy to nursing their young, mothers tiredlessly offered their very best to their children. The happiest moment is none other than when their children appreciate them, love them and even a simple smile means a thousand words to them.
Elyse came back home from kindergarten on Friday, 2 days before Mother's Day, and immediately she asked me to sit down on the chair. Just when I was wondering what is this little girl doing, she offered a bottle of Vitagen to me, and wished me, "Happy Mother's Day, I love you Mommy". That was the best moment of my life! Such a sweet little girl she is.
Back in the kindy, when the teacher asked her what is she going to do for her mother, that was what she had in mind. And she did it right away after school.
She may not be the most obedient child; at times she tests your patience to the limit; she could drive you crazy; she's not perfect - but she's my darling. My dear one. My joy.
Thank you, Elyse! You are the best gift God has given to me. Together with Daddy and Erwyn, all of you make my life perfect and beautiful. I can't help but always thank God for every single one of you. You complete me. I love you, my child.
