Zoo Negara

Wow, what a sunny morning and I am so excited.  Today Daddy is going to bring me to the zoo!!!  Hurray!

This isn't my first trip to the zoo but Mummy said last year when she brought me to Singapore Zoo I fell asleep.  Well, I don't recalled that at all though...

Erwyn is not coming along because he's not feeling well.  Poor Erwyn.  Don't worry, you can come with me next time, ok?

Since today is not a public holiday, there are not many people in the zoo.

Aunty Audrey, Mummy and I are waiting for Ah Gong and Daddy to buy the entrance ticket.  Ah Gong and I only need to pay RM9 for the ticket, but Daddy and Mummy each cost about RM25 and Aunty Audrey is the most expensive - RM35, for she is not a Malaysian citizen.

"Let's go to the zoo, there are lots of things to do.  And the food is finger licking good...."

Here we go....

Oh no, Mummy forgot to bring mosquitoe repellent.  All of us are attacked by these vicious blood sucking monsters!!!  Mummy seems to be their main target though.  Within minutes, Mummy has more than 10 bites whereas we have 3/4 bites each.

Looks like today may not be a good day for Mummy.  Mummy's sports shoe is also hurting her.  She bought this new pair of shoes before she was pregnant with Erwyn.  And now her feet has grown slightly bigger and the shoe does not fit her well anymore.  So, Mummy bought a pair of slipper at one of the souvenir shops to replace her shoe.

We are now at the Children's World.  There are tortoises, rabbits, goats and deer.  I am allowed to pet them but I am hesitated to do so.  Look at this pony right in front of me.  He seems to be very friendly.

Oh oh oh, the Multi-Animal Show is about to begin.  Let's go, let's go!

A test of my bravery!  Look, I'm the youngest participant here oh...  Aunty asked me to stretch out my arm and the parrot flew over and rested on my arm.  I did not scream at all.  But actually I was so scared I dare not to move a single bit.

The zoo is so big.  We need to refer to the map to know our whereabout.

I'm tired of walking, so Daddy or Ah Gong or Mummy or Aunty Audrey pushed me as I sit in the stroller most of the time.  hehee...

Out ticket includes the Insect Zoo and Butterly Garden.  I don't like the Insect Zoo.  There are spiders, scorpians and millipedes.  They give me goose bumps.  But the Butterfly Garden is very nice.  There are so many butterflies all over.  Sometimes they even rest on your head, or shoulder, or hand.  I'm facinated by their colours.  So pretty!

Finally, here are my favourite animals!  The tiger, elephant and the giraffe.  I get to see them real up close.

Aiya, it's drizzling.  Looks like we gotta go.  After all, all of us are exhausted.  Run, run, run!  Oh, see you another day, Zoo.  Bye bye!
