9th November 2013
Today was a big day for our little princess. She was looking forward to it and was excited about it. Nevertheless, it was also a busy day for her. As usual, I sent her off to her ballet class. After an hour of dancing gracefully in the studio, we came back home safe and sound, ready for our next event - Elyse's kindergarten graduation and concert.
On our way back home, I looked at the sky and told Elyse, "The sky looks dark, maybe going to rain soon." "Hopefully not, or else it would be very messy for your kindergarten concert."
"Why?" Elyse asked.
"If it rains, then people have to carry umbrella to the school. Parking would be another problem." Mommy replied.
"Maybe I pray to God no rain later?" Elyse said.
So here we go, our little princess started to pray while Mommy continued to drive.
"Dear Jesus, I pray the rain to go away. So people can come for the concert. Pray that everything will go well. The children will all come. Nobody sick. The teacher will help the children. Thank you, Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray, amen!"
That afternoon, it was a warm day. Not a single drop of rain.
