My 4th Birthday!

Good morning, everyone!  What day is today?  Hmm... Today is Sunday!  We go to church every Sunday.  Do you?  But this Sunday is extraordinatry.  It's a special day for me!  Any idea?

Isn't this cake beautiful?  Let me read... H A P P Y     B I R T H D A Y     E L Y S E
This cake is for me!  It's my birthday!  I turst that you are smart to have found out by now.

Look at all these presents for me!  Wow...
What are you waiting for?  Come and celebrate with me!

A rare family photo with 2 kids smiling.  Do you know how difficult it is to get both of us smile at the same time facing the camera?  Great job, Aunty Audrey!

Now is Aunty Audrey's turn.  My favourite aunt - she flew all the way from Australia to celebrate my birthday.  Isn't she great?  No wonder she's my favourite aunt!

Ah Gong helped me to cut the cake.

A beautiful photo of Mommy & me!  Thanks to Aunty Audrey, our camera man (lady).  Mommy always complained that nobody takes photo for her.  Aunty Audrey certainly fulfilled her desire to be in the picture.

Yummy, yummy!  Look how delicious the cake is!  My favourite part of the cake is the white chocolate.  Can't stop eating them.  Are you drooling?

My present from Aunty Audrey - The Explorer Bible!  There are a great collection of stories, prayers and activities for young explorers like me!

Next to me is Dora the Explorer mega blocks.  I have been 'eyeing' on this toy long time ago.  Actually Mommy & Daddy thought I'm too old for mega blocks.  Since young, I have been playing the normal size lego pieces.  I could do so because I never put anything in my mouth even when I was a baby.  Moreover this toy is a bit too expensive.  Finally, it was Ah Gong who bought this for me.

4th grand aunt & 5th grand aunt sent a birthday card to me, with a lovely music tune - I'm a little teapot.  We are still trying to figure out the lyrics though.  It goes something like this:

Time to have a party, cake and more
This little girl is turing four
Time to wish her smile and dreams come true
Now send her kisses and a big hug too

Even Erwyn also enjoyed the music.  Aiya, Erwyn!  The card is upside down.  Sorry, guys... pardon him for he is only 16 months.

Thank you everyone for your lovely presents and wishes.  I am yet to 'convert' my ang pao from 4th & 5th grand aunts to a wonderful present.  I also need to 'collect' my present from 2nd grand aunt.  She has bought something unique but Aunty Audrey couldn't bring it over for me because her luggage is full!  But thank you, Je Ee Poh & Uncle Llyod.  I miss you all!

Mommy has also bought another cake for me to bring it to school.  However, there's no picture taken.  I did not get to eat that cake though.  The teacher helped me to cut the cake and put it on the tissue paper for all my classmates to eat.  I do not know how to eat this way.  What if I eat the tissue instead of the cake?!!  So in the end, my friend took it and ate it.

My kindergarten teachers also gave me presents.

I'm thankful to God that I am surrounded by so many beautiful people who showered their love to me abundantly.  I love birthdays!  Especially mine!
