A new journey awaits

Today it was officially announced in the church that we will be leaving for Teluk Intan.  Many expressed their thanks and congratulated Andrew for his new posting.  Although Andrew was preaching this morning, not many commented on his sermon.  Looks like the news on moving out has surpassed the Word of God itself.

We have many ups and downs in this church.  Nevertheless, it was never our intention for a move.  Rumours are flying everywhere.  My mom in law heard the most of them.  But I would rather put it as God's timing for such a move.  It's funny that last year we were so ready to move out of this church, yet God placed us here.  This year we were prepared to stay, yet God calls us to go elsewhere.  God's thoughts are higher than ours, but we know that He always have a good plan for us.  It may not be an easy path, yet He promises to be with us.

A sister gave Andrew a card, the words are beautiful.  I would like to share it here:

Just think... you're here not by chance, but by God's choosing.
His hand formed you and made you the person you are.
He compares you to no one else - you are one of a kind.
You lack nothing that His grace can't give you.
He has allowed you to be here at this time in history to fulfill His special purpose for this generation.
~ Roy Lessin

We are planning to visit the church in December.  My main concern is the parsonage.  That's where I'll be spending most of my time with my little girl.  We heard that it is a 5-room single storey semi-D.  Hopefully it is well maintained.

When I asked Elyse, 'Do you want to move house?'  She said, 'That's great!'
We laughed at her answer.  But we are not too sure how much does she understand.

Teluk Intan is a small town.  We heard that there's a McDonald and Billion shopping complex.

Many uncertainties at the moment.  Especially with an additional family member coming on board.  We pray for God's grace and favour as we re-locate to this new town.
